Appointment
You will need to book an appointment at least 2 working days prior to do your health screening. Appointment can be done online on http://normah.com.my/book-an-appointment/ or call us at 082-440055.
Health Screening Preparation
- Fast for at least 8 hours before your blood sample is taken and before abdominal ultrasound is completed. Do not consume food or beverages (except plain water). Most people find it convenient to stop eating and drinking in the evening after dinner and arrive early the next morning for blood test and abdominal ultrasound. After your blood sample is taken and abdominal ultrasound is completed, you may resume your normal diet.
- You may need to postpone your routine morning medication until your blood sample is taken. Please consult the doctor who has been providing you with the medication, regarding safety of stopping the medication and possible temporary substitute medication prior to stopping the medication.
- Do not smoke or chew gum.
- Wear comfortable attire and appropriate footwear for the Treadmill.
- Medication such as meta-blocker should be stopped 3 days before the test date. Please consult the doctor who has been providing you with the medication, regarding safety of stopping the medication and possible temporary substitute medication prior to stopping the medication.
For Ladies
- We recommend that you set your appointment for the health screening while you are not having your period, ideally about 14 days after the first day of your period. Current menstruation may affect the accuracy of tests.
- Please make sure that you are not pregnant to do the X-Ray.
Medical Report
Report will be available for review by our doctor. You will be informed to be present for the review.
The health screening will be conducted at Normah Health Screening Centre, located at Level 2 of Normah Clinic Building.
